Philosophy
The geometric transform utilised in Phi-Fuzz pushes the top of the wave by φ and the bottom by φ⁻¹. This golden imbalance impregnates the sound with even harmonics, producing warmth your ears read as valves. Every time constant is scaled the same way: the envelope breathes in at 5 ms × φ⁻¹ and out at 50 ms × φ, and the supply recovers from sag at 150 ms × φ. The attack is pulled in, the releases pushed out, and the pedal moves in golden time.

Two 12AX7 stages solved from real valve physics: supply sag, grid conduction, bias drift. One leans φ, the other φ⁻¹. It blooms when you dig in and chimes when you roll back.
Polarity decides which half of the wave takes the golden push. Classic at one end, mirrored at the other, perfectly symmetric snarl at the centre.
Chord mode splits the signal into bands and distorts each one separately, so the strings stop fighting. Full minor chords stay legible under heavy fuzz.

unrecognised; it is not yet code-signed.
The plain VST3 as a zip is 13 MB
and gives no warning at all — drop the folder into your VST3 directory.
macOS — Apple Silicon (M1 and later), signed and notarised, so nothing
warns. The button gives you the
VST3.
Logic and GarageBand need the
AU instead, and there is a
standalone app.
